Ogromne emocje towarzyszyły finałom Kujawsko-Pomorskiej Halowej Lidze Orlika rozegranym w minioną niedzielę w Koronowie. Tytuł sprzed roku obroniła Polonia II Bydgoszcz. Choć zespół był już inny, ale wciąż ten sam trener. O końcowym sukcesie zadecydowały rzuty karne.
W zawodach wystartowało 9 zespołów, podzielonych na dwie grupy. W grupie A, ostatni mecz pomiędzy Falą Świekatowo i Wisełką Bydgoszcz decydował, kto awansuje do grupy medalowej. Oba zespoły interesowało tylko zwycięstwo. W wypadku podziału punktów, awans wywalczyłyby Mały Piłkarz Inowrocław i Unia Solec Kujawski. Dwa trafienia podopiecznych Wiesława Szatkowskiego, ?wyrzuciły za burtę? zespół z Solca.
W grupie A walkę o palmę pierwszeństwa stoczyły ze sobą Victoria Niemcz, UKS Jedynka Aleksandrów Kujawski i Polonia II Bydgoszcz. Kiedy gracze z Niemcza pokonali bydgoszczan, wydawało się że mali piłkarze Roberta Wysockiego są już poza grą. Ale wówczas miała miejsce największa niespodzianka niedzielnego turnieju. Zespół Juventusu Soccer Schools Bydgoszcz, który nie mógł zaliczyć tego dnia do udanych, gdyż przegrał poprzednie trzy mecze, wygrał z Jedynką Aleksandrów Kujawski i tym samym skomplikował im sprawę awansu. Polonia II musiała wygrać trzema bramkami w ostatnim spotkaniu z Victorią Koronowo i dokonała tego.
W półfinałach obejrzeliśmy dwa różne spotkania. Victoria Niemcz nadspodziewanie wysoko uległa Małemu Piłkarzowi z Inowrocławia. Fala Świekatowo atakowała niemal cały mecz, ale to bydgoszczanie zadali dwa ciosy.
Spotkania o miejsca piąte, trzecie i pierwsze zakończyła seria rzutów karnych.
W spotkaniu o brąz, minutę przed końcem, Mateusz Sitek zdobył wyrównującą bramkę dla Niemcza i zawody zakończyły się wynikiem 3:3. Bohaterem ?jedenastek? został bramkarz Victorii Konrad Lipowski, który najpierw obronił dwa rzuty karne, a potem sam zdobył gola.
W finale nie było wiele klarownych sytuacji do zdobycia bramki. W konkursie rzutów karnych potrzeba było aż siedmiu kolejek, aby wyłonić mistrza rozgrywek. Na 4:3 trafił Dorian Banaszkiewicz z Polonii II.
